Reason for 2020 Men's Australian Open Tennis Tips & Betting Odds

It's going to be a great year, and it's time to start the Grand Slam tennis season that starts this month in Melbourne for the Australian Open. This year will be a very special year as players will have to take part in the Tokyo Summer Olympics at their normal time.

When we look at the ATP leaderboard, we see the following pointers for the top and bottom halves of the draws: Nadal No. 1, Djokovic No. 2, Federer No. 3, Thiem No. 4, Medvedev No. 5, and Tsitsipas No. 6. This information points to Djokovic, Federer and Medvedev are in the same half of the draw (below) and also Nadal, Thiem and Tsitsipas for their side of the draw (above).

You can see that Nadal must face a fearsome opponent who has led him to the limit of the hard road, and that's Thiem. Nadal won his only tough court meeting at the US Open. UU. 2018 in a grueling five-set match that could easily have followed Thiem's ??path.

Today Thiem is much better than then, because 2019 was a crucial year for him when he won in Indian Wells and Beijing and almost won the ATP final in London! He was kicked out pretty quickly in Melbourne last year due to an injury, but so far it seems that Thiem is fairly healthy and a dangerous opponent who defeated players like Federer, Nadal and Djokovic in 2019.

In the lower half of the draw you can see that Djokovic only has to worry about Medvedev and Federer. For some, that seems like a difficult task. However, this is Djokovic's most convenient grand slam event as it has seven titles. In Melbourne 2018, he showed that Medvedev can handle it, and let's face it, he's Federer's kryptonite. I don't see much when Novak Djokovic (+150) reaches the final.
Early betting options

It will be interesting here in the future, because it seems that the top half of the draw belongs to Nadal (+325) or Thiem (+1400), who are likely to meet Djokovic. But guess if Thiem Nadal overtakes and takes on Djokovic, he can surely beat Novak like he did recently at the ATP final and the French Open. If I wanted to place a futures bet so early before the draw, I would like to bet a small amount to possibly win, and Thiem could do it for us this year.
