Manchester City -967

Defending Premier League champions Manchester City were on the wrong end of one of the shocks of the season last weekend when they were turned over by Norwich in a dramatic five-goal thriller at Carrow Road.

Manchester City bounced back strongly following their shock defeat to Norwich by winning 3-0 in Ukraine. It was a very impressive performance by the Sky Blues as they controlled 54% of the possession and completed close to 700 passes at an accuracy of over 90%. Manchester City had 18 shots which Riyad Mahrez, Gabriel Jesus and Ilkay Gundogan scoring goals.

City scored three times without reply at the Oblasny SportKomplex Metalist, once again flexing their considerable attacking muscle. Guardiola’s men have now scored three or more goals in four of their last six fixtures in all competitions.

Sergio Aguero has scored 10 goals in seven appearances against Watford in all competitions, including hat-tricks in January 2014 in the FA Cup and September 2017 in the league. Aguero has scored in his last six Premier League appearances - the last player to score in seven in a row was Romelu Lukaku for Everton in December 2015.

Watford +2918

Watford have had a poor start to the season and they have already changed their manager. The Hornets were fortunate in their previous match as they managed a 2-2 draw against a disorganized Arsenal side.

The Hornets fought their way back from two goals down against Arsenal to rescue a draw at Vicarage Road last week, however, their performances and results in matches away to the division’s “Big 6” make for some pretty grim reading.

Watford were beaten in each of their last 15 away games against the Premier League’s top six clubs, and we expect the Hornets to struggle again at the home of one of the big boys on Saturday. Watford still look to be struggling as they only have 2 points from 5 games and are bottom of the ladder. Traveling to the Etihad Stadium is always a tough task but considering their recent form, it is hard to see how Watford got a result from this match.

Watford have lost each of their last 15 Premier League away games against established top-six teams by an aggregate score of 9-45. Their last such victory was against Arsenal at the Emirates in January 2017.

The Picks: Manchester City -967 - Under 4
