Reason for Juventus F.C. vs AC Milan Italy Serie A
|Juventus F.C. -227|
Juve are on a brilliant run of form in Serie A. The hosts have won seven of their last eight games in the league to move out in front, with Maurizio Sarri aiming to keep their run of domestic successes running. They are also making waves in Europe, having moved top of their Champions League group, so it’s been a fine season for the former Chelsea boss so far. His team are aiming to continue a 100% league record at home this term, while Milan head here in terrible form.
Juventus’ late winning goal against Lokomotiv Moscow (2-1) means they still haven’t lost a single competitive game this season (W12, D3), netting at least once after the break in the last 12 of them. The ‘Bianconeri’ always fight to the finish, with 11 of their 15 second-half goals during this run (73.33 %) arriving inside the last 30 minutes of play.
The hosts are obvious favourites here after winning all seven competitive home fixtures this season, and opening the scoring before the break five times. The ‘Old Lady’ have also beaten AC Milan in the last eight consecutive H2Hs, scoring at least twice in seven of them, and winning the second half ‘to nil’ in the last six.
Douglas Cost will be handed the No.10 role after scoring the winning goal from the bench in midweek. Aaron Ramsey is also set to start in midfield while Matthijs de Ligt is back after missing out in the Champions League.
Key Player: Five of Juventus striker Gonzalo Higuaín’s seven competitive contributions this season have arrived after the break (three goals, four assists).

The ‘Rossoneri’ have won only four games so far this season, with three finishing 1-0. Understandably, they like to keep it tight, as nine of their 11 SA games to date have been decided by a margin of less than 1.5 goals. All five of their away outings (W2, L3) fall into that category.
The visitors are 11th in what should have been their year to break into the top four. The Rossoneri are already eight points shy of fourth and they could slip even further back this weekend. The Rossoneri have lost six of their last 11 matches in the league, with 2-1 defeats to Lazio and Roma in their last two. With Milan looking out of their depth against some solid Serie A sides, we are backing them to fall short against Juve.
Milan lost to Lazio (1-2) last time out, making it five losses in their last eight SA matches. Of potential importance here is the fact that the first scorer has won eight of Milan’s 11 SA matches this season. Visiting teams account for two of the three exceptions (D1, L2). Mateo Musacchio and Samu Castilleo are set to miss out due to injuries, with Duarte and Suso set to start on Sunday night.
Key Player: Theo Hernandez has scored two of Milan’s last three away goals, with both arriving after the break.
