Valencia +180

Valencia will aspire to halt a three-game winless run (D2, L1 - in all competitions), especially as they haven’t gone four without a win since October 2018. However, they’ll take encouragement knowing that they have lost just four La Liga (LL) home matches since the start of 2018.

Four points from a possible nine has left their potential qualification for the UEFA Champions League knockout stages in the balance, whilst domestically they sit a modest 12th ten games in following three wins, four draws and three defeats – the latest of those losses coming at the weekend as Segunda champions Osasuna ran out 3-1 winners at El Sadar.

With Rodrigo suspended, Valencia will look to Kévin Gameiro for goals, although he hasn’t scored in four career appearances versus Sevilla.

Valencia is ranked on the 12th place in the standings with 46 points, 56 goals scored and 65 goals received in the last 38 leaguegames. They have failed to win 18 of their last 38 matches in La Liga.In their last match they lost against Villarreal.

Sevilla +150

With half a dozen sides including Wednesday’s opponents Sevilla all making strong starts to the season, Los Che are currently six points adrift of the top four – a gap which would worsen significantly were Sevilla able to bag all three points at Mestalla here on Matchday 11.

This definitely feels like the right opportunity for Sevilla to break that mini hoodoo, after they moved up to 5th and level on points with 2nd placed Barcelona after an excellent 2-0 home victory against Getafe at the weekend, thanks to second half goals from Javier Hernandez and Lucas Ocampos.

Sevilla are in excellent shape after winning their last three competitive matches without conceding - eight of their previous nine wins overall have now come ‘to nil’. A danger in attack, they’ve scored in 18 of their previous 24 LL fixtures, and last experienced a goalless league draw back in November 2018.

Joan Jordán netted the winner in Sevilla’s last two LL away victories (both 1-0).

Sevilla are ranked on the 4th place in the standings with 72 points, 69 goals scored and 49 goals received this season in La Liga.In their last match they won against Osasuna.

Extra Points
Denis Cheryshev is sidelined due to suspension for the home side, which should see Kang-In or Ferran Torres start.
Rodrigo Moreno is also banned, while Kevin Gameiro has a minor injury. Maxi Gomez should start up top.
Nolito is fit after missing some training, but Oliver Torres could still start on the left wing.
Chicharito is expected to get the nod up front over Luuk de Jong.

The Pick: Sevilla +150, Under 2.5
