Reason for Boston Bruins vs Detroit Red Wings NHL Hockey Tips

The Detroit Red Wings' offense showed signs of life in Buffalo on Thursday. He returned to Columbus in latency on Friday.

Detroit was shut out for the third time in four games by the Blue Jackets. The Red Wings expect their attack to be strengthened in a home game against the Atlantic Division leader in Boston on Sunday afternoon. The Bruins have won six straight games, including a 4-2 home victory over Arizona on Saturday.

The Wings had just 16 shots in a 2-0 loss to Columbus. They have scored two or fewer goals in nine of their last 11 games. His record during this period is 1-9-1.

Larkin produced his first multi-goal game of the season against the Sabers, scoring two goals in the first period after his team was silenced in the previous two games by the New York and Philadelphia Rangers. He also scored in the shooting session of a 4-3 victory.

Line combinations are changing due to injuries to eaves Anthony Mantha, Filip Zadina and Darren Helm. The absence of Mantha was particularly difficult to overcome. He was the team's top scorer with 12 goals and 24 points when he suffered a puncture in the lungs and a rib injury after being knocked down against Toronto on December 21. Mantha is training and could return next week.

Defender Madison Bowey left Friday's game in the first period with an undisclosed illness. The 21-year-old blue driver Gustav Lindstrom's match was a positive development.

He made his NHL debut in two straight games and saw 20 minutes of ice time on Friday.

The Red Wings recorded one of their 13 wins against the Bruins on November 8. Robby Fabbri scored twice in this 4-2 victory.

It will be the second of four meetings between the clubs. Boston changed quickly after beating the Coyotes, who scored the game's first goal early in the second period. The Bruins responded with three goals without responding the rest of the period.

Arizona scored their other goal in the first minute of the third, but the Bruins' defense got tougher and Charlie Coyle's second goal in the game won.

Boston coach Bruce Cassidy was not worried when the Coyotes attacked first.
