The 2020 PGA Tour season is advancing into the second round of the FedExCUP Playoffs. 70 of the best Golfers in the world like Dustin Johnson, Jon Rham, Jason Day or Tiger Woods will be battling it out in this year's BMW Championship.
The Tournament will begin on August 27 at Illinois' Olumpia Fields Country Club where Justin Thomas will be the defender of the Title he won last year. Here are some Golfers to consider throwing on this week's BMW Championship betting card.
($ 800) Dustin Johnson is the recent No. 1 in the world on the FedEx list and after Brooks Koepka's bad words two weeks ago he is determined to prove that he is a legitimate top. Dustin Johnson finished T2 in the first major of the year and is coming off winning last week's Northern Trust by 11 hits. Johnson has won the BMW Championship a couple of times and right now it is on fire and is the right choice to win here.
($ 1,100) Justin Thomas is coming off a fair and disappointing Northern Trust last week, but also note that he won the St. Jude Invitational and finished second at the Charity Open and is the reigning champion of the BMW Championship by winning it last year.
($ 1,200) Bryson DeChambeau missed last week's cut but has top-10 finishes in 8 of his last 11 starts. DeChambeau has to shine this week in the BMW Championship as he has won Amateurs in this field in 2015. We will take advantage of these prices to make money with DeChambeau.
($ 1,600) Rory McIlroy hasn't been able to finish in the top 25 since the Travelers' Championship and is having a hard time motivating himself and he admitted it. He had a correct performance last week and will need a little more if he wants to win here. Right now McIlroy will come out of this funk eventually and we can get the comeback at a good price.
($ 3,300) Jason Day also didn't have a great performance at the Northern Trust last week, finishing a T4 in the PGA Championship two weeks early. Day has won this tournament in 2015 which was held at the Conway Farms in Lake Forest, Ill. Jason Day has finished in the top 10 in the last five outings and twice in the top-5.
($ 1,800) Collin Morikawa is a burgeoning stressor who has a bright future. He won the PGA Championship a couple of weeks ago and also finished second at the Charles Schwab Challenge in June and has only to arrive motivated to the BMW Championship after a poor performance in the Northern Trust.
($ 3,300) Tony Finau did not participate in The Northern Trust, but in 3 of his last 5 events he has been in the top 10. Finau is too good and consistent to pass up these odds. Let's not think about last week's performance, with this price an improvement from Finau will leave us good money for our pockets
($ 4,000) Kevin Kisner has straight top 5 finishes, is also 40 under par in his last 10 rounds and has some of the hottest putters in the field. He is another player who can show a good improvement and give us a good bag.
