Minnesota Vikings vs Dallas Cowboys Week 10 SNF Football Live Odds / NFL Free Predictions

Odds Analysis: The Cowboys opened as 3-point home favorites, while the Vikings moneyline opened at +131 and the point total at 47. The total has gone UNDER in 11 of the Vikings’ last 14 night games. Minnesota Vikings +3

The Vikings are coming off of a lose in a very close game against the Kansas City Chiefs in which the Vikings lost 26-23, snapping their 4 game win streak.  In their game against the Chiefs, Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins completed 19 of 38 passes for 220 yards and 3 touchdowns.

Kirk Cousins threw for 220 yards and three touchdowns last week, but he still has not guided Minnesota to a victory when trailing entering the fourth quarter, falling to 0-10-1 in such games after Kansas City kicked two field goals in the final 2 1/2 minutes last week.

Cousins could be without one of his top targets as Adam Thielen aggravated a hamstring injury in Sunday's loss and did not practice Wednesday or Thursday. His absence would mean a heavy workload for Dalvin Cook, who has rushed for nine touchdowns and an NFL-leading 894 yards. Minnesota ranks sixth in the league with 28.0 sacks, led by defensive end Danielle Hunter with 8.5.

Minnesota's defense had a rare off-day stopping the run as Kansas City churned out 147 yards -- its most allowed on the ground this season. The Vikings are holding teams to 95.8 rushing yards per game, good for ninth in the league, but are facing one of the league's best rushers in Ezekiel Elliott and a Cowboys offensive line that rates highly in run-blocking.

Dallas Cowboys -3

On the year, the Dallas Cowboys are now 5-3 which is good enough for 1st place in the NFC East and have won 2 games in a row.  Prescott has thrown for 2,380 yards this season which also includes throwing 15 touchdowns passes against 8 interceptions.

Dallas also is expected to lean on the ground game as Ezekiel Elliott has rushed for at least 100 yards in three straight games, including 139 on 23 carries last week against the Giants. The Cowboys rank fifth in the league, surrendering an average of 17.8 points.

Elliot has carried the ball 158 times for 741 yards and 6 touchdowns so far this year.  Cooper has been the Cowboys leading receiver on the year and has caught 42 passes for 701 yards and 6 touchdowns.

Amari Cooper, the team leader with 701 yards and six touchdown receptions, was diagnosed with a bruised knee that prevented him from practicing Thursday but he is expected to play Sunday.
