Denver Broncos vs New York Jets Prediction, Betting Tips and Preview of the match for the NFL Football Game on Thursday October 1st, 2020.

Jeff Driskel Denver Broncos
432 PYDS | 54.7 Comp % | 78.4 RATING

Jeff Driskel completed 17-of-30 passes for 176 yards with one touchdown and one interception in the Broncos' 28-10 loss to the Buccaneers Sunday. He added three rushes for 14 yards.

Sam Darnold New York Jets
562 PYDS | 61.5 Comp % | 70.7 RATING

Darnold continuously pops off a play that reminds us of his top-end talent, but he simply has no help on this team.

The coaching, the offensive line, the running backs, the receivers, etc. are all subpar and Darnold simply can't carry an entire organization by himself.

Even though this Broncos defense has been decimated with injuries, which would make Darnold an appealing streaming option, you can't plug him into your lineup this week.

Denver Broncos -2.5

The Denver Broncos enter that game after a 28-10 home loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to fall to 0-3 this year. This is not the beginning they expected.

A big problem early on was an offense that ranks 30th in the league in scoring, scoring just 15.0 points per game so far. their best offensive performance was the 21 points they accumulated in a 26-21 loss to the Steelers on the road in the second week.

Let's go back to the loss to the Bucs. The Broncos were the six-point dogs on the show and were outscored 353-226.

Denver was just 42 yards on the ground and 184 yards through the air. Jeff Driskel took the start and threw for 176 yards with TD and INT. Brett Rypien came in and hit eight of nine passes for 53 yards and an INT.

The Broncos were missing RB Phillip Lindsay, QB Drew Lock and WR Courtland Sutton in the contest, so you can see why the offense struggled. Of the three, Lindsay is the only one to star in this one.

New York Jets +2.5

The New York Jets are off to another slow start, having gone 0-3 this year as well. That seat under Adam Gase's butt is getting extremely hot right now.

New Y0rk comes after a 36-7 loss on the road to the Indianapolis Colts, despite the game drawing 7-7 after the first quarter.

The Jets were outscored 353-260 on the show and failed to cover as 12.5-point dogs. Sam Darnold had a very difficult outing when he threw for 168 yards with a TD and three interceptions for a passer rating of just 47 in the game.

The Jets were also injured on offense as RB Le'Veon Bell, WR Jamison Crowder, WR Breshad Perriman and WR Denzel Mims missed the contest.

Check the injury reports as the Jets have a lot of players. The Jets are 32 in the league in total offense and 32 in scoring, with just 12.3 points per game.
