Reason for Temple Owls vs USF Bulls

Temple Owls -14

The Owls have played well against the run for most of the season, with opponents averaging 167.5 rushing yards per game.

The team has struggled against the run in their last two games, with opponents averaging 291.5 yards per game against them and will need to do a better job slowing down the run to get this win.

Temple is now 5-3 with a conference record of 2-2 which places them in 3rd in the AAC East.  On the year, Russo has thrown for 1,873 yards, 16 touchdown passes and 8 interceptions.

Davis the Owls leading rusher and has ran for a total of 655 yards and 5 touchdowns on 135 carries so far this season.  Mack has been the most productive wide out for the Owls and has caught 43 passes for 629 yards and 5 touchdowns on the year.

USF Bulls +14

The Bulls have bounced back from their poor start to the season and have won three of their last four games.

They are two wins away from becoming bowl eligible, but with two of their final four games coming against ranked opponents, they can’t afford to lose this game to the Owls.

The South Florida Bulls come into Thursday’s game after beating East Carolina by the score of 45-20 in their last game.

USF quarterback Jordan McCloud completed 9 of his 12 passing attempts for 102 yards and 2 touchdowns as well as running 4 times for 49 yards. McCloud split time under center with Kirk Rygol who completed 6 of 12 passes for 74 yards and a touchdown.

The Pick:

The UCF squad has a great offense and the defense is not that bad either for UCF. Look for the Tulsa team to put up quite a battle in the game here, but continue to have some problems in the way the Golden Hurricane are able to play offensively in the game and not be able to contain the Knights offense. Final Score Prediction, UCF Knights win and cover ATS 42-24
