In the win over Auburn, LSU quarterback Joe Burrow was 32 of 41 for 321 yds and touchdown.  Burrow also threw one interception in the game, while also adding a rushing touchdown. LSU running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire had a dominating game out of the backfield, rushing for 136 yds on 26 carries and a score.  LSU out gained Auburn in the game, 508 to 287.  The Tigers rushed for a total of 187 yds on 46 attempts.

Burrow is fueling an attack averaging 46.8 points per game and has completed more than 70 percent of his passes in each game and thrown four or more touchdown passes on five occasions. The Tigers have solid receivers with junior Justin Jefferson (55 receptions, 819 yards and nine scores), sophomore Ja'Marr Chase (43 for 749, nine TDs) and sophomore Terrace Marshall Jr. (22 for 333, seven) combining for 25 scoring catches.

Freshman cornerback Derek Stingley Jr. has a team-best four interceptions and junior linebacker Jacob Phillips has recorded a team-high 64 tackles for a unit allowing 20 points per game. LSU (8-0, 4-0 West) had no such grave injury concerns, but the week off may have been most beneficial to sophomore wide receiver Terrace Marshall. He made his return after a five-game absence due to a foot injury in LSU's 23-20 win over Auburn on Oct. 26 and had two catches for 29 yards and a touchdown.
