Jose Valenzuela vs Deiner Berrio Lightweight Bout, Betting Odds and Props - Saturday, September 18, 2021 at the Mechanics Bank Arena, Bakersfield, California, Watch on Fox Sports One.

The 22-year-old impressed in his last outing, stopping Donte Strayhorn in the fourth round of their fight that aired on FOX before the Pacquiao vs. Ugas PPV on August 21. Although Valenzuela was happy to have been able to show his aggressive style, he also saw aspects of his game where he can improve.

Berrio represents the most successful fighter Valenzuela has faced so far in his young career. Berrio, 30, has never been arrested and recently lost a 10-round decision to undefeated Juan Pablo Romero in April. Despite the experience gap, Valenzuela believes he has the ring IQ advantage that will help him emerge victorious.

WINNER: Jose Valenzuela @ -1600
