The biggest music night is just around the corner. It seems like yesterday when Kacey Musgraves and Childish Gambino cleaned up and took home a lot of Grammys, but it's almost time again to top the best of the music.

This time, the nominees see eight candidates in each main category, which makes it a little more difficult to decide who goes home with some bronze. With more options, it just makes a more exciting broadcast.

The Grammy Awards is an award presented by The Recording Academy that celebrates and recognizes achievements in the music industry. The 62nd Grammy Awards are right around the corner, airing Jan. 26 on CBS, but all the betting odds are here!

2020 Grammy Awards Album Of The Year Odds

Eilish's singles helped her make a name for herself, but her entire album was not that culturally impressive. Some major players fill this category, but the one that can be seen is Norman Fucking Rockwell by Lana Del Rey.

He may not have produced the 10 best singles or played with radio criteria, but these are the Grammy Awards, not the MTV VMA. Note that this category introduces some high-profile artists, but the academy also voted to accept some nominations based only on artistic merit.

Del Rey spans the worlds between surnames, but manages to avoid trends or even worry about what happens in music outside of his own career. The Grammys also ignored it for too long and Rockwell was loved by fans and critics alike.

Billie Eilish is one of the -150 favorites to name the album of the year "If we fall asleep, where are we going?" And it will be quite difficult to get them from this platform. The album had six songs on Billboard and if Iain MacMillan doesn't like it, you know it's a decent album.

In an average year of pop music, Eilish would probably not be the favorite since it is just an above average album for pop music, but this year's competition isn't so outstanding with Ariana's "Thank U, Next". Great with the next ... best odds at +300 and "Cuz I Love You" by Lizzo at +350. The rest of the nominees are indie pop or alternative albums that generally don't win this coveted award. Get carried away by Lizzo's album if you like Ole 'Iain and don't feel this album.

2020 Grammy Awards Best New Artist Odds

Again, you can't deny the impact Billie Eilish has had on the world around her. The best new artist seems to belong to you among these nominees. Lizzo also had a moderate influence, especially notable for his motivating narrative of body positivity (not to mention his impressive flute), but less musically than Eilish.

Likewise, Lil Nas X's success story remains one of the books, but the steam in his career seemed to subside when "Old Town Road" finally ended his summer hit series. The rest of the category includes lesser known artists (though we don't deny his great voice, Maggie Rogers) that the academy is likely to ignore. If Eilish were recognized as both Best New Artist and Album of the Year, she would be the fourth artist ever to do this feat and the first since Norah Jones in 2003.

2020 Grammy Awards Record Of The Year Odds

The only one of the four categories that I would recommend hiding "Bad Guy" by Billie Eilish is "Record of the Year" and this is because "Old Town Road" was a great success for Lil Nas X this summer and these songs generally have a good chance of winning this award.

If you go back to 2010 and look at the songs that won this award, everyone was considered an anthem that spoke to everyone, like Get Lucky by Daft Punk or Hello by Adele. And I couldn't go anywhere in 2019 without hearing Old Town Road at least once a night.

I know this is a big disadvantage, but Bad Guy was a song that mostly had a niche before it steadily gained momentum and reached the top of the charts, while Old Town Road saw a meteoric rise and was a hit with Bei first hearing.

Record of the year is a cornucopia of very different offers. So it really depends on how the academy wants to name the results. However, if you look at the reality, it will be Billie Eilish's "Bad Guy".
It is true that she is the bad person. Duh Eilish's tune has been heard everywhere for a few months. With this logic, it seems likely to reward Lil Nas X "Old Town Road".

But Eilish's melody is more pronounced, it tends to age and really sums up the outside culture that has been thematically and socially highlighted this year. It would not just be a victory for them, it would be a victory for all children who think they are a little different.

2020 Grammy Awards Song Of The Year Odds

Finally, the only category that does not have a favorite of odds, this would be one of the times when punters need to hit Billie Eilish's "Bad Guy" because "Old Town Road" is not nominated due to the parameters set out by Recording Academy "Bad Guy" is actually a slight favorite about "Truth Hurts" by Lizzo and out of these two songs, it is not worth considering any other nominees.

The song of the year is intended to be a prize for composers and the fact that "Bad Guy" was written and arranged by Eilish and his brother Finneas O'Connell makes me think that voters will give it to the duo for their youth and layers production sounds that are generally reserved for mature artists.

It's a shake between "Bad Guy" and "Truth Hurts." Since this is a real category of song composition (unlike the Record of the Year that gives the recorded track), Eilish is likely to take the trophy home once again.

In terms of compositional properties, "Bad Guy" is a well built track. It is unique, original and has properties that return it to the past while remaining fresh and exciting.

Lyrically and thematically, Eilish and his brother Finneas really built a great song here from scratch and deserve to be rewarded for their work.
