Preview

The rising Milwaukee Bucks look to continue their undefeated streak in the second half of the NBA season when they host the San Antonio Spurs on Saturday.

The Bucks have won 10 of 11 overall, including five in a row and all four of their games since the All-Star break. Three of those games came on the road and Milwaukee rose to third place in the Eastern Conference in the process.

Milwaukee's latest win came in overtime, 109-105, in conference leading Philadelphia on Wednesday.

Giannis Antetokounmpo led the victory with 32 points and 15 rebounds, his third consecutive game with at least 30 points and 10 rebounds.

The Bucks trailed 19 points early in the third quarter before bouncing back and survived despite giving up the lead at the end of the deal. Antetokounmpo scored seven points in overtime.

Donte DiVincenzo added 20 points for the Bucks, while Brook Lopez finished with 14, his ninth straight double-digit game.

Since that win, the Bucks have made two moves on the list. On Thursday, they traded Torrey Craig to Phoenix for cash, and on Friday they acquired Rodions Kurucs, PJ Tucker, a 2021 second-round pick and a 2022 first-round pick from Houston in exchange for DJ Augustin, DJ. Wilson and 2021. and 2023 first-round pick.

The moves probably made a Bucks team even stronger and strengthened Milwaukee for the home stretch and the playoffs.

Saturday's game against San Antonio begins the longest home season of the second half of the season for the Bucks, who are 15-5 at home.

San Antonio heads to Milwaukee for the second straight game after a 116-110 win at Cleveland on Friday.

Keldon Johnson scored 23 points and had a career-high 21 rebounds, including 11 on the offensive end, in the victory. Tim Duncan was the last Spurs player with a 20-point, 20-rebound outing, dating back to 2013; The last San Antonio game in which a player had 11 offensive rebounds was three years earlier.

According to the Spurs, there have only been six (three-player) games in NBA history in which a player 6ft 5in or shorter has had more than 20 points and more than 20 rebounds. Johnson, who is 6-5, was the seventh to become the fourth player in history on Friday.

Dejounte Murray had 22 points and DeMar DeRozan had 20 in the win after missing four games to his father's funeral.

San Antonio has won three straight victories and wraps up a five-game road trip Saturday in Milwaukee.
