One of the top home league teams for much of the season, the beaten Boston Celtics suddenly find it hard to pull together at TD Garden. They will try to break a three-game losing streak at home before starting part of the schedule when they wear the Oklahoma City Thunder on Sunday.
- The Celtics play seven of their next nine on the road after this one, including visits to Milwaukee and Toronto, the two teams ahead of them in the East.

The last time the Boston Celtics faced the Oklahoma City Thunder, the Celtics drove immediately. But since that victory on 112-111 on February 9 that extended Boston's winning streak to seven, things have been difficult for the Celtics.
The Celtics are 5-5 since then, including the elimination of three of their last four games before Sunday's home game against the Thunder. Marcus Smart was disappointed but resolved after Boston's loss to Utah Jazz on Friday. However, the time to do so is being reduced with only 20 games remaining.
Smart has tried to be positive about the recent Celtics struggles, although he has also been the subject of strong criticism, saying he disagrees with coach Brad Stevens' assessment that the effort was not the problem, using an explanatory word to Describe the effort
Boston's only victory in the last four games has been against the unfortunate Cleveland Cavaliers. Stevens said he thought one of the biggest problems was health. Kemba Walker has had a restriction of minutes since he returned from five games lost due to pain in his left knee.
Jaylen Brown (hamstrings) and Gordon Hayward (right knee) have missed the last two games and should return on Sunday, although Stevens left the door open for Hayward's return.
After Sunday's game, the Celtics will play seven of their next nine away games. The game is the last in a three-game road trip for the Thunder, which won the Detroit Pistons and the New York Knicks in their previous two outings.
Oklahoma City has won 11 of its last 12 away games, with its only losing streak, which began the first week of January, against the Bucks in Milwaukee. After losing their first six games away from home to start the season, the Thunder are 19-5 as visitors.
While the Celtics were recently beaten, Oklahoma City experienced a period of relative health. Rookie striker Darius Bazley hasn't played since the last Celtics game, missing 10 straight games with a bruise on his right knee.
It is not far from a possible return, even if it will not play on Sunday. Everyone who has played this season has been healthy recently.
