Preview, Prediction and Picks

When it reached the lowest point, Khris Middleton was still calm under pressure once again for the Milwaukee Bucks.

Middleton's winning shot was left in overtime by half a second and picked up the Buckes Saturday afternoon for a 109-107 victory over the Miami Heat.

It was a solo shot from Middleton, who led Buck with 27 points, four attempts in overtime. Middleton, meanwhile, got ahead of Duncan Robinson to stay 4:13 in overtime, leading to a 1:

As teams prepare for the second leg of the game Monday night at Milwaukee Stadium, Brooke Lopez quickly reminded reporters that this was not the first time Middleton had gone after the Bucks.

The Bucks, who finished fourth in the NBA with 38.9 percent from 3-point range, shot from long range at a lousy 5 to 31, but dominated the Heat 56-24 in Game 1.

Heath made a franchise postseason record of 20 triples, including seven from Robinson, who finished with 24 points.

Miami took 50 attempts beyond the arc, but thought it might have been even better to try to pull off the tough inside defense of the Bucks.

Heath felt they needed to improve their midfield to counter Milwaukee's paint defense, which limited one of Miami's best weapons to Bam Adebayo by just nine points for a 4-15 shot.

Heat shot 16 to 49 (32.7 percent) during the rest of the shots, and Jimmy Butler also fought 4 to 22.

The guard again pushed Gianni Antetokunmpo to double and triple teams, as well as in the second round last year, in five games played by Miami.

But Antetokunmpo responded with 26 points, 18 rebounds and five assists, despite conceding 27 of 27 shots on the floor.

Antetokunmpo said that his left elbow felt good after the game, even though he took a free throw from 6 to 13 and only fired a shot from Adebayo after hitting the screen, which remained in the regulation at 5 : 30.
