Denver Nuggets vs Los Angeles Clippers Prediction, Betting Tips and Preview of the match for the NBA Playoffs Game on Saturday September 5th, 2020.

Jamal Murray Denver Nuggets
17.6 PTS, 3.8 REB, 6.6 AST

Murray ended with 17 points (7-21 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four assists, two rebounds and one steal in 41 minutes during Monday's 80-78 victory over the Jazz.

The Nuggets completed a miraculous comeback, clinching their series against the Jazz with a spirited Game 7 victory.

Murray was not able to replicate his earlier performances and luckily, neither was Donovan Mitchell. Murray has basically carried the Nuggets over the first six games and can certainly be forgiven for this performance.

With that being said, he still hit a couple of clutch baskets and will now ready himself for the challenge of facing the Clippers in the second round.

Kawhi Leonard Los Angeles Clippers
23.4 PTS, 7 REB, 3 AST

Leonard finished with 29 points (12-16 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 4-4 FT), three assists, two rebounds, two steals and one block in 32 minutes during Thursday's 120-97 Game 1 victory over the Nuggets.

Leonard was in a class of his own Thursday, leading the Clippers to an emphatic victory over a tired Nuggets outfit. This was about as comfortable as the Clippers have looked thus far in the playoffs and Leonard was a primary reason for that.

Game 2 will take place Saturday and the Nuggets will certainly have to do more to contain Leonard if they are to make this a competitive series.

The Los Angeles Clippers will look to replicate their dominant performance in Game 1 when their Western Conference semifinal with the Denver Nuggets resumes on Saturday in the NBA bubble near Orlando.

Kawhi Leonard scored 19 of his 29 points in the first half as the Clippers beat the Nuggets 120-97 in Game 1 of the series on Thursday. Leonard, who rested in the fourth quarter, registered 12 of 16 shots from the ground.

He and the Clippers took control of the game in the second quarter by building an 18-point half-time cushion. They continued to call in the third quarter, holding the Nuggets to 16 points during the period.

Fatigue was also a problem for the Nuggets. Apparently winning his seven-game streak against the Utah Jazz in Tuesday's first round took its toll.

Nikola Jokic led the Nuggets with 15 points. Jamal Murray was limited to 12 points after averaging 31.6 in the series against the Jazz and scoring 50 points in two games and 42 in another. Murray had 5 of 15 shots, including 2 of 8 on 3 points, with six assists in 33 minutes.

The Clippers outscored the Nuggets 57.1% to 42.2%.

No player has been attacked more than Leonard, who is averaging 32.3 points per game in the playoffs. He scored at least 29 points in each of the seven playoff games, including 32 or more in five consecutive first-round games against the Dallas Mavericks.

George added 19 points and seven rebounds. Marcus Morris Sr. had another solid outing, scoring 18 points on 7 of 10 shots, including 4 of 5 on 3 points.
