Blake Snell allowed two runs on two hits and four walks while striking out nine over four 2/3 innings during Wednesday's 6-4 win over the Dodgers in Game 2 of the World Series. He did not factor into the decision.

Snell limited the Dodgers to two runs over four 2/3 innings. He yielded a two-run shot to Chris Taylor in the fifth inning as his lone mistake.

Snell threw a total of 88 pitches, landing 49 for strikes. The 27-year-old owns a 3.33 ERA, 1.32 WHIP and 28 strikeouts over 24 1/3 innings. Snell would most likely pitch again in Game 6 of the World Series, if deemed necessary.

The Rays dominated the Yankees in the decisive fifth game for the ALDS and won the seventh game against the Astros in the American League Championship Series. Tampa Bay have not won consecutive games since ALCS games two and three.

Randy Arozarena now has 27 playoff hits, the most in a single playoff series in major league history. Arozarena continues to make a big impact and is sixth of 18 with two home runs and three RBIs in the World Series.

He is hitting .370 with nine taters and 13 RBIs in the Rays' 19 playoff games. Brandon Lowe homered off Dodgers starter Tony Gonsolin in Game 2 and had six RBIs in the series.

Tampa Bay finished 12th in the MLB of the regular season with an average of 4.82 points. They posted a 3.56 team ERA, placing them third overall.

Tony Gonsolin named the Dodgers’ Game 6 starter of the World Series against the Rays.Gonsolin lasted only one 1/3 innings in his previous outing and was saddled with the loss.

He has struggled most of the postseason, owning a (0-2) record along with a 9.39 ERA, 1.70 WHIP and nine strikeouts over seven 2/3 innings.

The Dodgers continue to play very well at home and now have a whopping 29 points in all five games of the World Series.

The Dodgers have hit 11 home runs in this series and he has a clean .859 OPS. The relief feather was much better in Game 5 after losing several runs in the difficult loss in Game 4.

Dave Roberts went with Blake Treinen to close out the game against Kenley Jensen on Sunday night.

Corey Seager has been the Dodgers' best hitter in the playoffs and that series. The 26-year-old shortstop is 8 of 17 with two home runs and four RBIs in the World Series, including another RBI in Game 5.

Seager leads the Dodgers with a .343 average with eight great shots and 19 RBIs in the Dodgers '17 playoffs.

The Dodgers led all of baseball with 5.82 points per game in the regular season and their productivity increased in the playoffs.

The Los Angeles pitching staff also led the major leagues with a 3.20 team ERA.
