The Los Angeles Dodgers open a three-game series on the road at Coors Field on Tuesday against the Colorado Rockies.

Los Angeles is 95-54 after an 8-5 win over the Cincinnati Reds on Sunday. The Dodgers are second in the National League West just one game behind the San Francisco Giants, who have already won first place and have already secured a playoff spot.

Justin Turner is hitting .278 to lead Los Angeles and third baseman has 138 hits, a team-high. First baseman Max Muncy has 34 home runs and 86 RBIs to lead the Dodgers in both, and Mookie Betts has the team-best 0.379 on-base percentage. Los Angeles will send Julio Urias to the mound on Tuesday. The left-hander is 18-3 with a 2.99 ERA, 180 Ks and 32 BBs.

Colorado fell to 70-79 after a 3-0 loss to the Washington Nationals on Sunday. The loss ended a five-game winning streak for Colorado, but the Rockies have won seven of the last nine. Colorado is fourth in the NHL, 26 1/2 games behind the San Francisco Giants, and has been out of the playoffs for some time.

Left fielder Raimel Tapia hits .276 to lead Colorado, while first baseman C.J. Cron has 27 home runs, 83 RBIs and a 0.366 on-base percentage to lead Colorado in each. Right fielder Charlie Blackmon is the leading hitter with 127. Colorado has yet to announce its starting pitcher for Game 1 of this series Tuesday against Los Angeles.
